Senior Lead US Accountant (Permanent WFH & Night Shift)

SUMMARY

The Senior Accountant is an experienced member of the accounting team who works diligently to maintain order and transparency of the company's finances. This role provides mentorship and support to the accounting team while maintaining order and transparency for the company’s finances.

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Create and distribute customer invoices for weekly and monthly variable billing.
• Process client contracts and initiate billing.
• Provide mentorship and support to the accounting team.
• Assist in the management of finance queues to ensure timely turnaround time.
• Assist with data entry for vendor charges and bills.
• Reconciled data and maintained various databases and spreadsheets.
• Perform proper revenue recognition for recurring and one-time invoices.
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
• Provide support for the integration of new customers into accounting processes during acquisitions.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Support other accounting projects and assist with automation and process improvement efforts.
• Other duties, as assigned.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional finance/accounting experience is required.
• Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.

• Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement
• Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule
