Fixed asset manager (urgent hiring)

You will play a key part in supporting the overall financial health and operational excellence of our organisation.

What you'll be doing Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of all fixed assets, including property and equipment Manage the fixed asset register, including recording additions, disposals, and depreciation Ensure accurate and timely fixed asset reporting, aligning with accounting standards and internal policies Conduct regular physical inventories and reconciliations to maintain the integrity of fixed asset records Provide support and guidance to cross-functional teams on fixed asset management Identify opportunities to optimise fixed asset utilisation and recommend improvements Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports related to fixed assets Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices What we're looking for 8+ years of experience in fixed asset management, preferably in the retail or technology industry Thorough understanding of accounting principles, fixed asset accounting, and depreciation methods Proficient in the use of fixed asset management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Professional Accountant (PA) certification is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
