What You’ll Do
As the Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors at SoFA Design Institute. You will handle reception duties while supporting the Admissions Team in processing applications, managing inquiries, and maintaining records to ensure a smooth admissions process.
- Reception & Student Support
- Greet and assist applicants, students, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Respond to phone calls and emails, providing information about SoFA’s programs, admissions process, and deadlines.
- Direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Admissions Assistance & Documentation
- Review application forms and ensure completeness before filing them in the student database.
- Input and update applicant information in the student system.
- Prepare and distribute admissions-related correspondence.
- Assist in processing and archiving application materials for both accepted and non-accepted students.
- Coordinate with the Academic and Registrar teams to verify student documents and enrollment requirements.
- Administrative Support
- Follow up with applicants regarding missing or incomplete documents.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and organizing admissions events.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment.
- Support any additional tasks assigned by the Admissions Manager or department heads.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any business-related course or equivalent.
- Experience in customer service, administration, or education-related roles is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer service-focused.
