Job Description

As an Inside Sales Rep focused on the Public Sector, you’ll manage key accounts, coordinate with channel partners, and identify new revenue streams within government agencies and institutions. Your expertise and relationship-building skills will drive pipeline growth and strategic territory expansion.

The Qualifications We Seek
  • 3–5 years of inside sales experience, ideally in a public sector channel sales environment (SLED or Federal)
  • Proven success managing a sales territory and closing deals with partners
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement and funding processes
  • Experience using Salesforce and tools like Demandbase, GovSpend, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in a high-speed, collaborative sales environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
Your Daily Tasks
  • Manage a public sector territory to uncover new business, renewals, and expansion opportunities
  • Partner with resellers and distributors to support co-selling and deal closure
  • Build relationships with channel reps to drive pipeline velocity and alignment
  • Use tools like Demandbase, GovSpend, and LinkedIn to research accounts and track procurement cycles
  • Maintain account intelligence to uncover prospects and re-engagement opportunities
  • Proactively manage renewals and provide timely quotes to retain accounts
  • Support outbound lead generation and align with Marketing and BDR efforts for public sector campaigns
  • Log all sales activities and pipeline updates in Salesforce
  • Stay informed on public sector IT trends, procurement rules, and funding cycles
  • Meet and exceed sales targets aligned with partner-driven sales objectives
