Mechanical engineer (general)

Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer would be responsible for aiding with the designing, manufacturing, and troubleshooting of new equipment and systems for the company.

• Analyze our current systems and equipment to determine what areas need improvement.
• Run tests and experiments to determine the best method of solving current problems, and use your findings to design new, effective systems.
• Draw up a set of plans for your new design and create an accurate budget and timeframe for the project to present to project managers and any other engineers involved in the project.
• Ensure that all systems and equipment are in compliance with our safety regulations.
• Design mechanical systems and equipment used in the oil manufacturing company.
• Maintain integrity regarding pipelines, pumps, and other mechanical products.
• Inspect and conduct tests and mandatory maintenance activities in order to avoid failure of these equipment.
• Fix mechanical problems and take necessary actions immediately.
• Adhere to safety rules, quality levels, and environmental standards.
• Draft and design maintenance and design technical reports and documentation.
• Perform risk assessments and act to eliminate threats to safety.

Qualifications/Requirements

Candidate must be a College Graduate
