About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Co Ban Kiat Hardware, Inc. as a Property Operations Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the company's various properties in the Philippines. This is a full-time role that requires on-site work.
What you'll be doing- Property Maintenance:
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans.
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs.
- Conduct regular property inspections and audits.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Identify and implement opportunities for property improvements to enhance value and tenant satisfaction.
- Implement best practices for property operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of property staff.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency.
- Ensure the properties are presented and maintained to a high standard.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety training and drills for staff and tenants.
- Maintain records of compliance and safety inspections.
- Emergency Management:
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with relevant authorities.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in property or facilities management, preferably in the commercial/retail sector
- Strong understanding of property operations, including maintenance, repairs, and tenant management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in data analysis and financial management to optimise property performance
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills to address complex property-related issues
- Relevant tertiary qualification in property management, facilities management, or a related field
