Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting our repair and engineering services to customers, identifying sales opportunities, and providing technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with our sales, engineering, and operations teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the oil & gas sector or power generation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to provide technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Provide technical support and expertise during sales presentations and client meetings.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Document all sales activities and maintain accurate records of client interactions.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in a technical sales engineering role in the oil and gas, industrial, or power generation industries.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong technical knowledge of oil and gas operations, and power generation technologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.

Working Conditions:

  • The Technical Sales Engineer will work in a fast-paced office environment with frequent travel to customer sites.
  • It may involve occasional overtime to meet deadlines or respond to customer needs

Supervisions:

  • Directly reporting to Sales Manager
