About the role
Southern Arms Corporation is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring the timely collection of payments.This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organisation.
What you'll be doing- Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and promptly
- Manage accounts receivable, including following up on overdue payments and resolving billing discrepancies
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain detailed records of all financial transactions
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure the integrity of financial data
- Provide excellent customer service to clients regarding billing and payment inquiries
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to billing and collections
- At least 2 years of experience as a Billing Clerk or in a similar accounts receivable role
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures, particularly in the area of accounts receivable
- Adaptable to change and willing to learn new systems and processes as needed
