Job Summary:

We are seeking an Investment Consultant to help in Human Resource (HR) - Due Diligence to support our investment and acquisition processes. This role will assess human capital risks and opportunities within potential investment targets, providing strategic insight into organizational structures, talent capabilities, compensation frameworks, compliance, and cultural alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive HR due diligence on target companies during mergers, acquisitions, and investment assessments.
  • Evaluate organizational design, headcount, reporting structures, and workforce composition.
  • Analyze compensation structures, incentives, equity plans, and employee benefit programs.
  • Assess alignment of HR practices, employment contracts, and company policies with applicable local labor laws and regulatory requirements, in coordination with in-country legal and compliance team.
  • Identify key personnel risks, including leadership stability, retention concerns, and succession planning gaps.
  • Evaluate employee engagement, culture, and internal communication practices to assess post-acquisition integration risks.
  • Provide detailed reports and recommendations to investment teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to align findings and support decision-making.
  • Support post-acquisition integration planning from an HR and organizational development perspective.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in HR consulting, organizational development, or investment-related HR due diligence.
  • Solid understanding of HR systems, compensation structures, and talent strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in private equity, venture capital, M&A, or consulting firms strongly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or other HR certifications.
  • Familiarity with integration planning and change management.
  • Experience in cross-border or international HR due diligence.
