About the role:

As a Technical Support Representative/Analyst, your skills will be on the front lines every day. While working directly with customers, you’ll ensure they are getting the most out of our products and services. This role is a great launching point for taking your career into other areas of FIS and beyond.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide Level 1 technical support to users for system and database related issues.
  • Run basic SQL queries to retrieve or update data as per user requests.
  • Escalate complex database or system issues to Level 2/3 support teams
  • Monitor database health and alerts logs to identify potential issues.
  • Document common issues and troubleshooting steps in a knowledge base.
  • Communicating highly technical information in layman terms to non-technical users.
  • Recommending hardware and software solutions.

What you will need:

  • 1-2 years relevant work experience
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, including creating queries, updates and troubleshooting errors.
  • Familiarity with database management system (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Understanding of relational database concepts ad structures.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and basic system troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linus operating system (advantageous).
  • Amenable to work on regular working hours (8:30am to 5:30pm Manila Time).
  • Amenable to work on a hybrid setup. Might eventually become full onsite. The office is located at Paseo De Roxas Avenue, AIA Tower (formerly Philamlife Tower), Makati City but might be required to work at the client's site depending on the need.
