System Administrator (Vulnerability Management) - Quezon City

Job Description

Work Arrangement:Hybrid Work Setup (1x onsite per week & 4x WFH); Work Location:Makati

Work Schedule:Monday to Friday (mid shift 3 PM to 12 AM); with on-call on weekends (At least 1x every quarter)

Work Engagement:Full-time, 9 months initial contract (high rate of renewal and/or conversion to permanent role)

Key Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer or Engineering courses.
• At least 2 to 4 years of working experience in the same role or capacity.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with Vulnerability Management, Project Management, Coordination, Windows Server Administration, and Metrics Reporting.
• Must be open to work on any given shift schedule (mid shift).
• Willing to work on a hybrid setup in Makati City.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vulnerability Identification and Resolution:Support vulnerability assessments, prioritize risks, and coordinate with teams to implement remediation strategies.
• Server Administration:Perform routine server maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure stable and efficient operations of Windows environments. Diagnose and resolve issues related to system performance, connectivity, and hardware/software configurations across servers.
• Scripting and Automation:Scripting tools like PowerShell or Python to automate repetitive tasks, streamline operations, and improve system and vulnerability management workflow efficiency.
• Compliance, Reporting, and Metrics:Support regulatory and internal compliance initiatives by aligning vulnerability management activities with company standards. Generate reports for audits and compliance assessments. Generate dashboards to track vulnerability trends, SLA performance, asset risk scores, and other security-related metrics.
• Incident Response Collaboration:Collaborate with the team to investigate and remediate vulnerabilities exploited during security events or simulated attack exercises.
• Patch Management:Assist with scheduling and applying security patches and updates for operating systems and applications to maintain compliance and security standards.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of server configurations, troubleshooting steps, and security processes to ensure clarity and continuity.
• Tool Utilization:Administer and optimize IT and security tools, such as SCCM, CrowdStrike, Qualys, and other monitoring and vulnerability management platforms.
• Other Responsibilities as Needed:Provide general IT support, contribute to IT projects, and assist with ad hoc tasks to address operational needs.
