HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT OFFICER - BILINGUAL / MANDARIN SPEAKING- Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business goals and the organizational culture.
- Provide guidance and support to management on organizational development, talent management, and employee engagement.
- Ensure that HR policies, programs, and practices are culturally relevant and compliant with local regulations in both language regions. Lead and manage the recruitment process for bilingual and culturally diverse candidates in both languages, ensuring alignment with client and company needs.
- Draft, translate, and review job descriptions, advertisements, and interview questions in both English and Mandarin languages.
- Coordinate bilingual interviews, assess candidate suitability, and collaborate with hiring managers to ensure effective hiring decisions. Act as a liaison between management and employees, facilitating communication in both English and Mandarin.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts, ensuring consistent and clear communication across different cultural contexts.
- Organize employee feedback programs, surveys, and workshops to improve engagement and morale in both regions. Coordinate and deliver training programs in both languages, ensuring cultural relevance and language accessibility.
- Support employees’ professional development by identifying training needs and facilitating learning opportunities across various departments.
- Ensure that all training materials and sessions are available in both English and Mandarin languages, fostering a bilingual learning environment. Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local laws and practices in both regions.
- Assist in the development of compensation strategies to attract and retain top bilingual talent across diverse markets.
- Provide support in managing payroll, bonuses, and benefits in compliance with legal and contractual agreements. Maintain accurate employee records in both languages, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Support the HR team with employee documentation, including contracts, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure HR practices adhere to applicable labor laws and industry standards in the regions where the company operates. Coordinate the performance management process, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback, ensuring clear communication in both English and Mandarin languages.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and increase employee satisfaction across regions. Provide cross-cultural coaching and support to ensure seamless integration and communication across multilingual teams.
- Foster an inclusive workplace that values diversity and supports employees from different cultural backgrounds.
- Must be excellent in oral, writing and reading skills in English and Mandarin language.
- Solid understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements in multiple regions.
- Proficient in HR software and tools, such as HRIS, payroll systems, and performance management platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- With or without experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, or organizational development.
- Experience working in a bilingual or multicultural HR environment is a plus.
- Previous experience in a consultancy or multinational company is a plus.
