Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AR Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team at Elevate Calls Inc. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing revenue cycles and ensuring timely collections.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts receivable (AR) collections processes efficiently and effectively.
Review and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and discrepancies in payment postings.
Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to address payment issues and resolve outstanding balances.
Utilize Athena Health EMR system to track and manage accounts receivable activities.
Analyze AR aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on delinquency levels.
Collaborate with the billing and coding team to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an AR Collections Specialist or similar role in the healthcare industry.
Proficiency in using Athena Health EMR system is required.
Strong understanding of medical billing and insurance claims processes.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and exceed performance targets.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare AR collections.
