Position Summary
Working as a respected team member and reporting to the Sales Manager Building Infrastructures, the Sales Engineer – Power Systems is responsible for Key elements of the role are: · Develop Legrand’s power systems sales & market share with key stakeholders (End User, Developers, Engineers, Contractors & partners ) · Develop and implement sales & business strategies for commercial & Industrial projects.
KEY RESULT AREAS (KRAs) and DESCRIPTION
SALESDevelop Legrand’s market share with key Stakeholders
Develop strategies for Power Systems with commercial developers & builders, consultant and electrical contractors
Develop, analyse and maintain a projects & opportunities database for Commercial & industrial projects nationwide.
Work with Building Infrastructures team to increase Legrand’s market share.
Develop/maintain consistent representation for all partners and relevant industry associations.
COMMUNICATIONPromote Legrand’s Power System offer to specifiers
Prepare and provide training for external/internal customer base.
Develop/maintain ongoing “Technical Overview” presentations and product feedback sessions
GENERALAssist with additional duties, as required by manager
Must be aware of and comply with all internal policies and procedures as required

- Appropriate technical qualifications
- Current Driver’s license
- KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Sales and account management ability
- Product & Technical Knowledge
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Technical ability required to analyse data and plan accordingly
- Ability to identify and drive opportunities
- Time management - being able to control daily / weekly and monthly activities
- Computer literacy
- Experience in managing long-term business relationships
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
