Job Description

Be part of our client’s team as an Estimating Engineer, supporting preconstruction efforts through accurate quantity take-offs, bid evaluations, and cost analysis. You’ll review subcontractor submissions, maintain document control, and collaborate regularly with the estimating team to ensure precision and project success for large-scale U.S. commercial construction projects.

Shift: Night Shift (Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM, Weekends Off)

Work Setup: Hybrid, Pampanga (Onsite during probation; Hybrid after regularization, 2–3 days onsite weekly)

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building construction and cost estimating (civil engineering background strongly preferred).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and cost estimation.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook) and Skype for communication.
• Skilled in using On-Screen Take-Off (OST), Bluebeam, and Box for estimating and document management.
• Strong experience in Quantity Surveying (QS) and working with international clients (preferred).
• Proven ability to prepare detailed bills of quantities and project scopes (a plus).
• Familiarity with CSI MasterFormat, construction types (Type I–V), and multiple estimating formats (Trade, Division, Systems/Assembly).
• Knowledge of building codes including UBC, IBC, and ICC standards.
• Able to identify construction trades required for projects and different construction materials.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, specifications, and other documents.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) for professional communication.
• Located in Pampanga for long-term career growth.

• Supporting the estimating team in preconstruction and bid efforts by conducting quantity take-offs and bid reviews for construction projects
• Performing scoping and bid evaluations to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Reviewing and verifying quantity take-offs for cost estimation
• Leveling and analyzing subcontractors’ bids, clarifying inclusions to ensure comprehensive submissions
• Attending regular check-in meetings with the estimating team to review project progress
• Managing document control tasks to maintain organized and accessible project records
