JOB SUMMARY
Oversees the legal affairs of the business and serves as the primary legal advisor to the Commercial Feeds Department. This role ensures that all administrative functions comply with legal and regulatory requirements. The position combines paralegal expertise with management duties, ensuring all legal documentation, corporate governance, and compliance standards are followed.Collaboration with the legal team, regulatory bodies, and various departments is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and legal integrity.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all aspects of the Business Registration Services ensuring that the process runs smoothly; Comply with government rulings;
- Review and revise existing contracts; draft agreements and contracts related to Feeds Marketing, Selling, Retailing, including Pig Growing Contracts, Lease Contracts, and other legal documents under the Agribusiness Group;
- Drafts and participates in reviewing company policies, contracts with clients, and other legal/corporate documents;
- Review delinquent accounts for legal action and prepare and send demand letters to delinquent customers;
- File legal actions in courts for monetary claims and small claims (civil and criminal cases related to customer/client offenses);
- Report legal updates and compliance issues to management and coordinate with the company's legal counsel for appropriate actions;
- Draft legal documents such as contracts and pleadings; prepare and file documents with courts;
- Attend court hearings and monitor ongoing legal cases;
- Attend labor hearings related to department employees in coordination with Corporate HR Department;
- Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws;
- Conduct legal research on business-related cases and perform other legal duties as needed;
- Work on other legal work and duties needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate with a background in law or paralegal skills (preferably Legal Management or Political Science);
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards;
- With at least 2 years of experience in the similar role; In the field of Agriculture/Retail /Food/Manufacturing/ Real Estate/ Leasing/ Law Firm/ Labor laws;
- Must be willing to be assigned in BGC, Taguig.
