- Assists in developing plans and goals for Piping Section activities in ship repair and conversion projects.
- Researches and analyzes customer designs for feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements.
- Prepares work specifications and reviews standard procedures for upcoming projects.
- Delegates tasks to supervisors, ensuring qualified employees are assigned jobs.
- Holds meetings with Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors to address project issues and progress.
- Monitors and controls project costs for ship repair and conversion activities.
- Reviews staff performance and recommends promotions or changes to the Assistant Manager.
- Develops feasibility studies to optimize labor and material use, enhancing productivity.
- Provides on-hand supervision to ensure smooth workflow.
- Gives feedback on project status and ensures proper execution of job orders.
- Ensures compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Develops plans to improve housekeeping, quality, and safety policies.
- Maintains technical knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
- Ensures adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
- Develops plans to enhance housekeeping and safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the superior.

Qualifications:
