About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in Bataan, Central Luzon. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical systems and equipment within our state-of-the-art power generation facility.This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional development and growth.
What you'll be doing- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and components, including motors, transformers, switchgear, and control panels
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, and implementing appropriate solutions
- Conducting inspections and testing of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to guide your work
- Collaborating with the wider engineering team to support the overall operations of the power plant
- Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in the power generation industry
- Proficient in the use of multimeters, insulation testers, and other electrical testing equipment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex electrical issues
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
