Job Description: Demand Planner Senior Specialist

Overall Objectives: To lead and manage demand planning and forecasting processes for Midea appliances, ensuring optimal inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and overstocks, and maximizing sales and profitability

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement accurate demand forecasting models
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to predict future demand
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align demand plans with business objectives.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand
• Monitor inventory turnover rates and identify opportunities for improvement
• Implement inventory control strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocks
• Participate in S&OP meetings to align demand plans with supply capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues and optimize resource allocation
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify patterns and insights
• Generate regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and sales performance
• Utilize advanced analytics tools to improve forecasting accuracy and decision-making

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
