Product Engineer
To provide technical support on processes, design, and quality measures for a specific product.
About the job:
- Lead qualification of alternative suppliers and alternative materials as part of the second source program, SSQF, and PCCM compliance.
- Completion of all deliverables and requirements under Steps 1 to 6 SSQF procedure for second source projects. (material drawing review, technical discussion with supplier, product testing execution, documentation)
- Support operations on qualifying supplier-related and material-related changes under the SPCN procedure for existing suppliers.
- Support new product development projects and compliance with NPPD 5-Phase requirement – related to raw materials and supplies.
- Ensure the compliance of the product to certifications’ requirements such as UL, EAC, KC Marking,
- Provides design input, validation plan, prototypes/testing, PCCM ECR, drawings, datasheet, and FMEA updates. Ensures proper documentation of technical documents for the assigned product.
- Coordinates with relevant departments on testing, process, and yield improvement
- Support on Audit- Customer Audit, Agency Approval audit, Supplier audit, and review of supplier issues.
About you:
- Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Electronics Engineering. Materials Engineering. Metallurgical Engineering
- Fresh graduates are acceptable, but preferred to have 1-2 years of work experience in an electronics / automotive manufacturing company
- Technical knowledge and material science knowledge are preferred
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office. Background in other software (CAD, Stat, etc.) is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
