Manila - Infrastructure Cloud Engineer
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team at Trinity Workforce Solutions'. As a full-time role based in Bonifacio Global City Taguig City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure solutions that support our client's business objectives.
What you'll be doing- Architect and deploy cloud infrastructure using leading platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Monitor and maintain cloud resources to ensure high availability, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address infrastructure-related challenges
- Continuously research and implement new cloud technologies and best practices to improve system performance and reliability
- Provide technical guidance and support to developers and other IT teams
- Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Broad deep technical knowledge across Azure technologies inclusive of: Log Analytics (KQL), Application Insights, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure Security, Azure Networking (App Gateways, Front Door, Firewall, VWAN), Azure Storage, Azure Automation (IaC), Azure Sentinel, App Services, Containers (AKS), Managed Instances, Azure SQL, Azure DNS, Azure Virtual Desktop + Nerdio, Azure Files
- Have a strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure solutions and the delivery/execution of how they are implemented using IaC (Bicep or Terraform)
- Have obtained the AZ-305 Cloud Architect certification
- Proficient in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking, security, and monitoring services
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
