Procurement Engineer (Construction Materials) - Quezon City

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify reliable manufacturers and of various construction materials.
• Conduct assessments to identify and qualify vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.

• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure excellent contract terms and conditions.
• Draft and distribute Request For Purchase to potential vendors, outlining the specifications and requirements for products or services needed.
• Oversee the entire purchasing process, from initial requisition to final delivery, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with suppliers for long-term partnership and potential cost savings.

• Work with engineering teams to define technical specifications and compliance requirements.
• Ensure purchased materials meet all necessary project requirements, quality metrics and industry standards.

• Coordinate with project management team to optimize inventory levels and minimize delays.
• Monitor lead times and delivery schedules to ensure timely project execution.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Engineers to align procurement with project schedules.

• Perform detailed cost analysis to identify ideal procurement options aligned with budget constraints and quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and raw material costs.
• Provide cost analysis and sourcing strategies to improve procurement efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Preferably with Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within the construction or building materials industry.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Experience with CAD, Sketch Up software.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
