The accounting associate will be responsible for providing general support to the accounting department in the form of helping with journal entries, assisting with month end activities and both accounts payable and receivable, and processing invoices.

Assisting with both clerical and administrative tasks. In general, an accounting associate takes care of basic office tasks that involve reporting, bookkeeping, research, as well as the resolution of discrepancies related to any of the tasks he or she performs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • · Type/enter accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • · Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • · Daily enter key data of financial transactions in the spreadsheet and submit it to 3rd party
  • accounting outsourced provider for balance sheet financial report.
  • · Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • · Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • · Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
  • · Provide assistance and support to company personnel
  • · Process invoices/bills so that they can be paid
  • · Prepare statement of account to bill clients
  • · Perform general office support like filing and other administrative tasks
  • · Keep sensitive information confidential

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Candidate must possess at Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, /Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
  • At least one years of accounting experience, preferable as an Accounts receivable clerk or accounts payable clerk. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
  • Competency in MS Office products (Excel, outlook, Powerpoint, word) knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
