IT Officer (Computer Science/Computer Engineering)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The IT Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of hardware, software, and network systems. The role involves providing technical support, implementing IT policies, and ensuring cybersecurity measures are in place to protect company data.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications in timekeeping software or database management may be advantageous.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant IT experience (experience in a construction company or engineering industry is an advantage).
• Experience with IT support, hardware troubleshooting, and network management.
• Experience handling construction-specific software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Project Management Systems, ERP systems) is an advantage.
• Proficient in hardware and software troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices).
• Knowledge of network administration (LAN, WAN, VPNs, routers, switches).
• Familiar with cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.).
• Knowledgeable in IT security, antivirus software, and data backup systems.
• Basic understanding of server management and database maintenance is a plus.
