About the role

We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join our team, power generation company in Bataan, Central Luzon. As Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in the operation and management of our power generation facility, ensuring the efficient and reliable production of electricity.

This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

Oversee the daily operations of the power plant during your assigned shift, coordinating the activities of the operations and maintenance teams
Monitor equipment performance and identify any issues or potential problems, implementing appropriate corrective actions
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Manage shift schedules and work assignments to optimise productivity and efficiency
Collaborate with the overall plant management team to identify and implement process improvements
Provide training and mentoring to shift personnel to develop their skills and knowledge
Maintain clear and accurate records of shift activities, production data, and any incidents or events

What we're looking for

Graduate of Engineering course
Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) License
At least ten (10) years related experience in power generation industry in engineering/technical role and five (5) years in leadership position
Strong technical understanding of power generation equipment and processes, including boilers, turbines, generators, and ancillary systems
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proficient in interpreting technical data, identifying issues, and implementing effective solutions
Thorough knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and quality control procedures
Willing to work rotating shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage of the plant operations
