1. 0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2. 1 Responsible for the training of quality control inspectors and staff.
3. 2 Directs the work of inspectors involved in evaluating incoming materials and products during the production process.
4. 3 Develops the quality control procedures and analyzes the data from inspection reports.
5. 4 Must resolve quality problems as they are revealed through inspection procedures.
6. 5 Works with purchasing in evaluating vendors for compliance to quality standards. Inspection data from quality control processes can identify problems with vendors or materials used in production.
7. 6 Schedule inspectors and ensure that production departments have audits of the processes and parts. The person in the supervisor position hires and trains inspectors in the quality department.
