Junior Associate Accountant - ref. f80652303

The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensure compliance with internal and external accounting standards. This is an onsite role based in Makati City.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules.
• Perform general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain and update accounting records and files.
• Assist with audits, tax filing requirements, and compliance documentation.
• Prepare necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
• Help monitor and maintain internal accounting controls and processes.
• Perform other finance and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; 1 year of relevant experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Willing to work onsite in Makati City.
