Position title: CONSULTANT

Job Description:

• Assist the development managers in preparing the development and execution plans for the assigned projects, including the integrated project schedule, contracting strategy and project capital cost budget.
• Provide recommendations to assigned projects’ project development managers in the development of the project in regard to the development and contracting strategies for various project technologies (i.e. wind, solar, transmission, and battery) or its component infrastructure projects, to ensure completion in accordance with the project schedule and budget;
• Provide recommendations for the execution organization for the project, the positions for which personnel must be recruited, participate in the interviewing of candidates for positions in the execution management team and make recommendations regarding the suitability of the candidates for the respective positions.
• Consult with assigned project development managers, or its contractors and third-party service providers, on specific procurement and contracting initiatives for the various components of a project, and work with assigned project development managers, project manager(s), development engineers and Company’s engineering support, including its contractors and third-party service providers for the timely and successful implementation and completion of the projects;
• Review, assist, and develop assigned projects’ requirements for bidding and/or contracting, and engagement of third-party service providers;
• Advise, provide recommendations in the management, coordination and collaboration between and among the project managers, their personnel, and the personnel of the project contractors and third-party service providers;
• Recommend the format for periodic project reporting, and work with the project development managers, the execution project manager(s), and the Company’s engineering, project controls, quality management, health/safety/security/environment management and contract administration teams to compile periodic reports to the steering committee for the assigned project.
• Undertake such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the Company;

• Degree in relevant field of technology or business. Strong communication skills including with “C Suite” executives and members.
• 20 years or more of related experience in the development and execution of wind projects.
• Proficiency with wind plant designs, wind resource assessment, infrastructure development for offshore wind projects like assembly ports, platforms, offshore substation.
• Experience in establishing and managing global strategic partnerships and working with multi-cultural execution teams, including Chinese and other international suppliers and contractors.
