Job Summary:

An AutoCAD Operator specializing in aluminum windows and doors is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and shop drawings for fabrication and installation. The role involves working closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accurate designs that meet project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting & Design: Create precise 2D and 3D drawings for aluminum windows and doors using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Shop Drawings: Prepare shop drawings for manufacturing and installation, including profiles, sections, and detailed assembly drawings.
• Material & Specification Compliance: Ensure that all drawings adhere to architectural plans, client requirements, industry standards, and material specifications.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with engineers, project managers, fabricators, and installers to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless execution.
• Revisions & Updates: Modify drawings based on feedback from architects, consultants, and clients.
• Documentation: Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and approvals.
• Quality Control: Verify dimensions, tolerances, and fabrication feasibility to prevent errors and production issues.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: With 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, preferably in aluminum windows and doors.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and other CAD software.
• Strong understanding of aluminum profiles, glazing, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
