Senior Bookkeeper or Accountant

This is a full-time role and the ideal candidate/s should be willing to work ONSITE in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines in a NIGHT SHIFT SCHEDULE (8:00PM - 5:00AM).

What we are looking for:

• Proficient in the Accounts Payable Process from Invoice Processing to Reporting
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and proficiency in record-keeping
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Hands-on approach to work with a keen eye for detail-oriented tasks
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey issues to all levels of management with clarity and diplomacy
• Bachelor’s Degree in any course with related accounting units
• Professional certification is preferred but not required
• Four years or more of experience in a related field

What you need to do:

• Process invoices and daily transactions and expenses
• Perform administrative support functions
• Update and maintain accounting database with data entry and reports
• Handle monthly and quarterly reports
• Handle day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll
• Direct communication to clients with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Review bank transactions and complete bank reconciliations quickly and correctly.
• Email management and resolving issues in real time.
• Quickly learn new processes and technical platforms to meet client specific requirements.
• Confidently ask questions to confirm understanding for both your tasks and others within the team.
• Create SOP that is transferable and understandable to others.
• Vendor Statement reviews along with contacting vendors to resolve issues both on the phone and via email.
• Utilizing all resources available prior to asking redundant questions.
• Accurate time tracking and time management
• Any additional tasks requested by the client and the US team within reason.
