Job Description:
- Provide technical guidance and assistance to national staff on compression rubber molding processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in the evaluation and acceptance of molds to verify adherence to design specifications and quality requirements.
- Conduct technical assessments to identify and resolve potential issues in mold functionality and durability.
- Support the troubleshooting of mold-related defects to enhance overall production quality.
- Ensure PPAP sample compliance with dimensional accuracy, material properties, and process capability standards.
- Analyze and optimize mass production processes to improve quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Recommend and implement process modifications based on data analysis and industry best practices.
- Provide hands-on technical support for production challenges related to equipment, molds, materials, and process parameters.
- Promote lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education: Graduate of an Engineering or Technical course.Experience: Extensive experience in silicone manufacturing, particularly in mold evaluation and usage.
Professional License: None
Skills Certification: Knowledge in manufacturing principles, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis,
Specialized Training:
Mold Tool Evaluation: In-depth training on the assessment and validation of mold tools to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, production requirements, and quality standards. Expertise in identifying defects, assessing mold durability, and recommending corrective actions to optimize performance and lifespan.
Proficient in mold acceptance procedures, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements.
Silicone Manufacturing Training: Advanced training in the complete silicone molding process, including material properties, curing methods, and process optimization. Skilled in analyzing production parameters to achieve consistent quality, troubleshooting defects, and applying best practices in mass production.Knowledgeable in industry-specific requirements for silicone components used in automotive, electronics, and consumer applications.
