• Prepare, analyze, and present regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data and trends, providing insights to management for decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals and market conditions in Mandarin-speaking regions.
• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Coordinate with external vendors and clients in Mandarin-speaking markets to manage financial transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in the development of financial strategies and plans to optimize company performance and profitability.
• Provide financial advice to management on cost-saving opportunities, investment options, and other financial decisions.
• Support financial modeling for new projects, market expansion, or other business initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and tax laws, particularly for Mandarin-speaking markets.
• Prepare and file required tax documentation and reports, working closely with tax consultants as needed.
• Manage cash flow, ensuring the company has adequate liquidity to meet operational needs and growth initiatives.
• Oversee treasury operations, including cash forecasting, liquidity management, and the execution of financial transactions.
• Coordinate with the bank and other financial institutions in Mandarin-speaking regions to manage corporate accounts and banking relationships.
• Monitor changes in financial regulations and ensure company practices are updated accordingly.
• Maintain and optimize financial systems, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial data entry and reporting.
• Recommend improvements to internal financial processes, workflows, and controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve cross-functional communication and ensure financial goals are aligned with broader business objectives.
• Serve as a financial liaison between the company and Mandarin-speaking clients, ensuring timely payments and resolving any financial issues.
• Negotiate payment terms with suppliers and customers in Mandarin-speaking regions, ensuring favorable financial arrangements for the company.
• Prepare financial documents, contracts, and reports for Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.

• Must be excellent in oral, writing and reading skills in English and Mandarin language.
• With or without experience in finance, accounting, or a financial specialist role, preferably within the trading, import/export, or related industries.
• Experience with international financial operations and working with Mandarin-speaking clients or markets is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining financial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial software, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting systems.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
