Social Media Manager

Job Description:

• As the Social Media Manager, you’ll own and drive HPL’s presence across key platforms (Website, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels). You will be in charge of building an engaged community of gamers, partners, and creative fans while supporting brand, sales, and recruitment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with marketing and business goals.
• Plan, create, and schedule engaging content (images, videos, polls, blogs, etc.) for all platforms including HPL website.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and recruitment teams for campaign launches and content calendars.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) and optimize content accordingly.
• Manage social media ad campaigns (Facebook Ads, IG Boosts, etc.) when needed.
• Build and manage communities — respond to messages and comments with the HPL tone and brand voice in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on trends in gaming, art and design, pop culture, and social media.
• Support the promotion of HPL's and partners' game launches, dev blogs, partnerships, tournaments, and hiring posts.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role (2+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms, content strategies, and tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or similar schedulers).
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills — creative, witty, and able to adapt to brand tone.
• Visual eye — basic graphic design/video editing skills are a big plus (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite).
• Passion for video games and digital entertainment.
• Highly organized and proactive, with strong attention to detail.
• A strong understanding of how to engage with Gen Z and millennial audiences.
