• Expected salary: ₱105,000 - ₱115,000 per month

Role Overview:

The Sr. QS collaborates with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure cost control, contract administration, and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on project drawings and specifications.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial forecasts.
• Conduct cost analysis to optimize project expenditures and identify savings opportunities.

1. Contract Administration & Procurement:

• Evaluate tender documents, contract terms, and subcontractor agreements.
• Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts.
• Work closely with procurement teams to review bids, supplier costs, and purchase orders.

1. Cost Monitoring & Control:

• Track actual project costs vs. budgeted costs and report any variances.
• Conduct cost risk analysis and implement corrective actions to control overspending.
• Monitor material usage, labor costs, and subcontractor expenses to prevent cost overruns.

1. Valuation & Payment Management:

• Prepare and submit interim payment applications and final accounts to clients.
• Review and certify subcontractor invoices and supplier payments.
• Conduct site measurements and valuations for accurate cost reporting.

1. Change Management & Claims:

• Assess and evaluate variations, change orders, and additional work claims.
• Prepare and defend cost-related claims and dispute resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and legal requirements.

1. Reporting & Documentation:

• Generate weekly and monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Maintain detailed cost records, BOQs, and project documentation.
• Present financial insights to management and project stakeholders.

1. Stakeholder Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and finance teams to align cost strategies.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers for contract negotiations and cost settlements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quantity surveyors and cost engineers.
