JOB OVERVIEW:

• Manage and oversee design and merchandising department; its personnel and mandate in creating visually compelling, functional and trend-setting furniture collections; the visual aspects of a furniture design, ensuring the artistic vision is effectively communicated and executed.
• Oversight entire creative process from initial concept development to final product, ensuring alignment with brand vision and market demand.
• Works fulltime and will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales and production to bring furniture designs from idea to reality.

Qualifications/Requirements

QUALIFICATION:

• Education: A graduate of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of at least 20 years of experience in the USA with manufacturing companies working in design and product development in-house.
• Skills:(1) Strong leadership and team player management skills with a proven track record of achieving operational targets.(2) Highly analytical and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. (3) Skilled in production planning, workforce management, and resource allocation. (4) A keen eye for detail, color, and trends in furniture design. (5) Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. (6) Proficient to speaking and understanding English language.
