Staff Accountant - Quezon City

YOUR ROLE:

The Staff Accountant will support the client's finance team by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.

• General Ledger & Journal Entries: Assist with the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Account Reconciliations: Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Accounts Receivable: Ensure Customer Statements are sent out at the end of the month
• Accounts Payable: Review AP Aging and confirm vendors’ invoices are received or requested. Review Received Not Invoice Report.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and company’s internal policies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other finance team members to help prepare for audits and identify any financial discrepancies.
• Support in AP, and AR if necessary.

What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Proven experience as a staff accountant or relevant role in accounting.
• Good with numbers and financial planning.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. NetSuite/Quickbook).
• Qualifications (CPA or CMA) are a plus.
