INTERIOR DESIGNER

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various stages of the design process, from initial client meetings to the final execution of the project. This role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and strong project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in interior design.
• Experience in commercial or residential design projects.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and sourcing eco-friendly materials.
• Fresh graduates with training experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Meeting & Consultation:

• Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals.
• Discuss budget, timelines, and overall vision for the space.
• Provide expert advice on design trends, layouts, and material selections.
• Maintain clear communication throughout the design process, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.

1. Moodboard Presentation:

• Develop and present mood boards to clients that visually represent the design concept, including color palettes, materials, and textures.
• Collaborate with clients to refine design ideas, ensuring their vision is captured and aligned with the project’s scope and budget.

1. Autocad & SketchUp Modeling:

• Create detailed floor plans and elevations using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and feasibility of design concepts.
• Use SketchUp to produce 3D models of interior spaces, presenting design solutions clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure all technical drawings and models are precise, up to industry standards, and ready for construction.

1. 3D Visualization (Rendering):

• Produce realistic 3D renderings of interior spaces using industry-standard software (e.g., 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Lumion).
• Present 3D visuals to clients for approval, allowing them to experience the design in a virtual environment before implementation.
• Make adjustments based on client feedback to achieve the desired look and feel of the space.

1. Sourcing and Purchasing Materials:

• Research and source materials, furniture, lighting, and accessories that align with the project’s design and budget.
• Build and manage a network of suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Assist clients in making selections, balancing design preferences with functionality and budget constraints.
• Handle purchasing logistics, ensuring all materials are ordered and delivered according to schedule.

1. Site Supervision:

• Oversee the implementation of designs on-site to ensure alignment with plans and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and make on-site design adjustments as needed.
• Ensure safety regulations and building codes are followed throughout the construction and installation process.

Work Environment:

The position will require both office-based and on-site work, with occasional travel to project locations. A combination of remote work and in-person client meetings may be required based on the project needs.
