DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Program Creation and Development
  1. Develops training programs, modules, and training materials including powerpoint presentations, handouts, ice breaker activities, exams, and other training materials.
  2. Develops an in-depth understanding of company policies, store procedures,and training modules and programs.
  3. Remains updated with the latest development through continuous learning and updates training programs, ensuring that it is aligned with company standards.
  4. Performs training needs analysis to assist in creating new training programs and improving existing training programs.
  5. Coordinate with other departments to align training programs with store policies and to consider the different practices in different stores.
  6. Understands the different learning styles and employs said knowledge in creating training programs and modules.
Training Preparation and Execution
  1. Ensures that all materials and equipment are well prepared before beginning each training session.
  2. Plan and coordinate training sessions, including scheduling, resource allocation, and venue reservation to ensure smooth operations with minimal disruptions.
  3. Coordinate with other departments to avoid conflict and ensure that trainees are endorsed after every training.
  4. Facilitates various training programs in accordance to established plans and utilizing various training methods to ensure engagement throughout the training session.
  5. Utilizes learning styles in executing training programs to adjust delivery methods ensuring proper knowledge transfer.
  6. Accepts feedback from trainees’ ensuring that training programs are effective and provides an impactful training experience.
  7. Coordinate with other trainers and provide feedback to refine training knowledge and learn different training methods that can be implemented in future training.
Onboarding, Integration,and Refresher
  1. Welcome and orient new hires and create a positive first impression of the company.
  2. Provides support and assistance to help new employees get accustomed to the company.
  3. Conducts various training and orientations on newly hired employees, and later endorses them to the appropriate department
  4. Conducts refresher training on existing employees, reinforcing or updating their established knowledge.
  5. Coordinates with other Supervisors, Area Managers, and Operations Managers to distinguish which employees are due for refreshers.
Store Visit and Immersion
  1. Performs store visits activities to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and assess its implementation in stores.
  2. Observe various aspects of store operations such as cleanliness, customer service, compliance to store policies, product quality, etc.
  3. Conducts Customer Service Audits during store visits and mystery shoppings, and later provides recommendations based on audit results.
  4. Performs store immersions to develop a deeper understanding of the day today deliverables of baristas and store supervisors.
  5. Ensures that existing baristas are equipped with up-to-date knowledge, and provides guidance to new hires, through coaching during store immersion.
Training Assessment and Evaluation
  1. Develop methods for assessment, such as exams, to analyze the effectiveness of every training program and to ensure that all trainees’ are properly equipped with necessary knowledge before moving towards the next training.
  2. Administers short exams once training sessions have concluded to evaluate the trainees’ learnings during the training and to measure their knowledge retention.
  3. Facilitate role-play activities to provide trainees’ a simulated experience of store operations and provide ratings based on their performance.
  4. Maintain an accurate record of exam scores and role-play ratings of all trainees.
  5. Utilize feedback to identify issues within each training program and propose recommendations and improvements to address the identified issue.
Documentation and Database Management
  1. Updates the training data base based on the training conducted daily.
  2. Ensures the accuracy of the data in the training database, including the trainee’s names, employee number, position, contact number, email, and test scores. This also includes details of the training such as the name of the trainer, date, and location.
  3. Present year-to-date and month-to-date reports illustrating the training conducted within the time period.
  4. Creation and dissemination of training certificates, certifying that a trainee has completed a specific training program.
Training Program Creation and Development
  • Achieves completion of planned training programs within the scheduled time frame.
  • Accurate reviews and revisions of training programs in accordance with company policies.

  • 0 instances of training delays due to incomplete or inaccurate training materials.
Training Preparation and Execution
  • Number of trainings conducted weekly and monthly.
  • 0 instances of delayed start of training due to unprepared training program, materials, equipment, or tardiness.
  • 0 instances of passing trainees not endorsed to the following department.
  • High level of trainee engagement and participation during training sessions.
  • Minimal waste of training materials.
  • Accurate demonstration of duties and responsibilities.
Onboarding, Integration, and Refresher
  • New hires are trained and endorsed on time.
  • Minimal changes in schedule affecting deployment of new hires, including; rescheduling, cancellations, change in venue, and swapping of timeslots.

Store Visit and Immersion
  • Accurate reports and observations of store operations during store visits and store immersions.
  • Identifies possible solutions and intervention to improve store performance.
Training Assessment and Evaluation
  • Passing score on training evaluation forms.

  • Accurate rating on role play activities.
  • Accurate encoding of exam and role play scores on the training database.
  • High average exam and role play scores of trainees.
Documentation and Database Management
  • Accurate training data monitoring.

TECHNICAL and BEHAVIORAL

QUALIFICATION
  1. A bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Human Resource Management ,or any similar field.
  2. Workor Internship experience in education or training &development, preferably in a corporate setting. 3.Knowledge in training software, Microsoft office, and google equivalent.
  3. Excellent communication and public speaking capability.
