Manila - Application Developer (Oracle EBS OR MS PowerApp experience)

Job Description

Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced IT Application Development Supervisor to lead and manage the development of custom applications and ERP solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in either Microsoft Power Apps OR Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions to streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Development and Customization:

• Design and develop user-friendly Power Apps forms OR Oracle EBS solutions.
• Customize forms to include required data fields, validation rules, dropdowns, attachments, and dynamic user inputs.
• Implement responsive UI/UX designs for optimal experience across devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).

1. Integration with Backend Systems:

• Integrate Power Apps with backend systems such as SharePoint, Dataverse, and third-party APIs.
• Develop and enhance integrations for Oracle EBS, particularly for HR and Procurement modules.
• Set up real-time data syncing and seamless communication between applications and the organization's database.

1. Automation & Workflow Development:

• Utilize Power Automate to create automated workflows such as notifications, task assignments, and email alerts.
• Develop and maintain workflows in Oracle EBS Approval Management Engine (AME).

1. Claims Management System:

• Develop forms submission, tracking, approval/rejection workflows, and status updates.
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.

1. Testing & Debugging:

• Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure all forms and workflows function as expected.
• Ensure compatibility with various browsers and devices.

1. Collaboration and Documentation:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document the development process, including application features, workflows, and integration details.

1. Ongoing Maintenance & Support:

• Provide ongoing support for developed applications, including updates, bug fixes, and enhancements.
• Assist in training users and providing technical support post-deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps OR Extensive experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.1.3, particularly in Approval Management Engine and HR-related integrations.
• Strong experience with Power Automate for process automation and workflow management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide progress updates.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Ability to translate business requirements into functional applications.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in creating and customizing Power Apps forms, models, and canvas apps.
• Expertise in designing and implementing workflows using Power Automate.
• Strong knowledge of integrating Power Apps with external systems (REST APIs, web services).

• Solid understanding of database concepts and experience working with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases.
• Microsoft Power Apps certification and relevant Oracle EBS certifications are a plus.

Work Location and Time:

• Set-Up: Hybrid though potentially need to report Full Onsite
• Working hours are 8am to 6:30pm with 1 hour for lunch break, Mondays through Fridays.
