As a senior team member, you will also coach and assist other engineers through technical leadership and guidance. The client strongly supports ongoing professional development through mentoring and technical certification, encouraging and assisting in skill enhancement and career progression.

• Design, deploy, and manage network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN configurations, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Deploy, configure, and manage SIEM, SOAR, and automation solutions for cybersecurity activities.
• Perform DevOps tasks using Infrastructure as Code (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM solutions to protect clients’ networks.
• Monitor and optimize network performance using network monitoring tools to identify and address issues proactively.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network and security-related issues, resolving complex network problems.
• Collaborate with the Managed Services team to develop and implement network & security integration strategies.
• Conduct regular network & security assessments and audits to identify optimization opportunities.
• Stay updated on the latest network & security technologies and recommend enhancements.
• Perform penetration testing as required for internal and client systems.
• Analyze incidents from detection to containment and execute remediation plans.
• Provide crisis management with clients, directing incident investigations and threat-hunting activities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to clients’ network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist in scoping and developing client proposals.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver customer projects.
• Act as a mentor to junior engineers.
• Provide after-hours support when required in emergencies.
• Attain and maintain relevant certifications.

• Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific network/security requirements and providing tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and account management teams, providing technical expertise during pre-sales and post-sales processes.
• Work closely with the Managed Services team to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
• Engage with vendors and partners to stay updated on the latest technologies and explore partnerships.
• Coordinate with compliance and security teams to ensure clients' networks meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in network infrastructure management within an MSP environment.
• Expertise in LAN, WAN, WLAN, and network security protocols.
• Strong experience with network design, routing, and firewall configurations.
• Knowledge of cloud networking (Azure, AWS, Megaport).
• Experience in troubleshooting complex network issues and implementing secure, scalable configurations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.

• Firewalls: Cisco ASA, FortiGate, client's Firewalls (PfSense, Palo Alto, etc.)
• Networking: Cisco (Level 2 and 3 support), SD-WAN (Cisco Meraki, FortiGate)
• Cloud Networking: Azure (Networking, Firewalls, SD-WAN, ExpressRoute), AWS (DirectConnect, AWS Networking)
• Cloud Security & SIEM: Blumira, Azure Sentinel
• Advanced Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF
• Wireless Networking
• Infrastructure as Code: Python, Ansible, Terraform

• Networking: CCNP, Network+, Certified Azure Network Engineer Associate
• Cybersecurity: CISSP, GCIH, Security+ (preferred)
