Job Description: As a Restaurant Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet and seat guests, and handle inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet guests warmly as they arrive and bid them farewell as they leave.
  2. Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring cleanliness and presentability at all times.
  3. Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure timely seating and service of guests.
  4. Assist guests with any special requests or accommodations they may require.
  5. Collaborate with serving staff to optimize table turnover and dining efficiency.
  6. Keep abreast of menu items, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
  7. Uphold the restaurant's standards of hospitality and contribute to creating a positive dining experience for all guests.

Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  3. Strong organizational abilities and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a solution-oriented mindset.
  5. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's operating hours.
  6. Knowledge of food and beverage terminology and familiarity with restaurant operations is a plus.
  7. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or customer service is desirable.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to stand for extended periods and move swiftly around the reception area.
  2. Capacity to lift and carry trays or small items as needed.
  3. Comfortable working in close proximity to kitchen equipment and moderate noise levels.
