Backend Developer

Strong Database Knowledge

Deep understanding of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

Proficiency in working with distributed caching systems like Redis and Memcached.

Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data storage solutions for business-critical systems.

Ability to manage and maintain data consistency in distributed systems, ensuring high availability.

Experience with Redis, MongoDB, or MySQL, with the ability to choose the appropriate data storage solution based on business requirements.

Candidates with experience in handling large-scale data processing and high-concurrency systems are preferred.

Experience with High-Concurrency Systems

Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining high-concurrency applications with minimal latency.

Proficiency in handling high-frequency queries and tuning databases for performance at scale.

Hands-on experience with projects involving big data processing and high-concurrency systems.

System Performance Optimization

Expertise in performance tuning and scaling backend systems to handle large volumes of data and traffic.

Strong knowledge of optimizing query performance, especially with NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with techniques like load balancing, sharding, and partitioning to optimize large-scale systems.

API Design and Development

Strong proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs using Lumen and Laravel.

Experience in implementing efficient API caching strategies using Redis, Memcached, or other technologies.

Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms for API security, such as OAuth, JWT, and API rate limiting.

Backend Development with PHP

Proficiency in PHP (version 7.x and above) with hands-on experience in Laravel and Lumen frameworks.

Strong knowledge of Laravel's Eloquent ORM, artisan commands, and queue management.

Strong knowledge with Lumen for building lightweight and high-performance microservices and APIs.

Experience with PHP Composer and managing dependencies in large-scale projects.

Programming Skills

Proficiency in backend programming languages such as PHP.

Experience building scalable systems and microservices architecture.

Familiarity with dependency injection, middleware, and service providers in Laravel/Lumen.

Version Control

Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

Communication & Collaboration

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other developers, teams, and stakeholders.

Preferred but not required

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for deploying scalable API solutions.
