The Role: Product Engineer (Failure Analysis)
What will you do?- Responsible for the continuous drive of product quality improvement by providing the technical expertise, thru the support and maintenance on the electrical/electronic-related functions of the product in order to reduce MDR (Manufacturing Defect Rate)
- Provide support to ensure smooth product transitions, resolve corrective actions quickly, and support production in formulating solutions to prevent and address material and/or process-related issues and defects.
- Supports Research and Development team to ensure that the design follows the company design standards and as well as meet the requirements.
- Create customer reports based on the analysis results which requested by the customer(s).
- Performs unit and board level analysis.
- Able to work on both Small and Large Uninterruptible Power Supply.
- Train repair technicians.
- Graduate of Electronic and/or Electrical Engineering course.
- Strong analytics on power electronics and electronic component evaluations.
- Above average experience on the use of electronic test instruments (e.g. oscilloscope, multimeter, power meter, data logger, etc.) and electronic equipment (e.g. AC/DC power supply, AC/DC electronic load, etc.)
- Programming experience is a plus but not required.
- Above average English communication skills in writing and verbal.
- Minimum 5 yrs experience in R&D or similar manufacturing set-up.
- Strong sense of urgency and independence.
- Leadership skills.
