The Accounting Clerk plays a vital role in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position involves assisting with a variety of accounting tasks to support the financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable: Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
  • Accounts Receivable: Generate customer invoices, post payments, and reconcile accounts.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Record journal entries, reconcile accounts, and update financial records.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Prepare monthly bank reconciliations to verify cash balances.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
  • Expense Management: Monitor and track expenses, review receipts, and ensure compliance.
  • Data Entry and Filing: Input financial data and maintain organized filing systems.
  • Assist in Audits: Provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in accounting specially in A/R & A/P.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Willingness to travel or be reassigned for training.
