About the role

As an HR Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of HR processes and contributing to a positive employee experience.

What you'll be doing
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with payroll processing by collecting and verifying employee information.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and changes.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure the HR department operates efficiently.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
What we're looking for
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Experience working in the construction industry is a significant plus.
  • Experience in an HR Assistant role or a similar administrative role is beneficial.
