Payroll Analyst I (Project based)
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Analyst (Contingent) to support our payroll operations. The ideal candidate will act as the point of contact (POC) for end-to-end final pay processing and handle payroll-related administrative tasks.The role involves ensuring accurate computations, timely validations, and proper documentation handling while addressing employee queries promptly.
Key Responsibilities
Final Pay and Retirement Pay Processing
Serves as the POC for end-to-end final pay processing.
Perform accurate computation of final pay, including deductions and benefits.
Validate and process submitted documents of former employees for crediting of their final
pay.
Respond to employee queries related to final pay on a timely manner.
Prepare and release final pay documents including, but not limited to: Clearance certificates,BIR 2316 (ITR), and certificate of contributions.
Payroll Administration
Manage and resolve payroll-related tickets and employee cases using the case management
system (Payroll Tier 1).
Prepare and maintain payroll reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with company
policies.
Perform administrative tasks related to payroll processing, such as updating employee
records, managing deadlines, and coordinating with relevant departments.
Compliance and Documentation
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal payroll policies.
Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of payroll data.
Assist in audits by providing necessary payroll-related reports and documents.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree holder in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferably with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in payroll processing or related roles. Fresh grads are welcome to apply
Experience with final pay computation and documentation is preferred
Familiarity with case management/ticketing systems is an advantage
Knowledge of local labor laws and tax regulations is a plus
Skills:
Proficient in MS Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
