IT Asset Management Specialist - Manila

Job Description

This position is responsible for datacenter management including capacity management and managing and ensuring compliance with software licensing agreements for on-premises IT infrastructure. This role involves capacity management, tracking software usage, conducting audits, and negotiating with vendors to optimize licensing costs and compliance.

• Track and manage software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
• Conduct regular audits of software usage and licensing.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all software licenses and related documentation.
• Negotiate with vendors for license renewals, new purchases, and cost optimization while developing and maintaining strong relationships with software vendors.
• Ensure compliance with all software licensing agreements and legal requirements by generating and presenting regular reports on software usage and licensing compliance to management.
• Forecast future capacity requirements based on business growth and usage patterns.
• Collaborate with departments to align capacity and licensing strategies with organizational goals.
• Work closely together with other departments to assure that processes are standard.

• Experience in On-Prem Licensing Management and Lifecycle (Microsoft, VMware, Veeam, Linux, etc.)
• Experience in high level Data center Management including Capacity Management
• Knowledge in data center infrastructure devices (e.g., servers, storage, networking, backups, security, etc.) and concepts
• Knowledge in maintenance of systems and vendor relations
• Experience in data management, KPI analysis, management reporting, ITIL, ISO 27001 preparation and follow up
