Safety Officer - Parañaque

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will implement and maintain workplace safety programs, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and proactively identify hazards. This role requires someone who can work independently and is willing to be assigned on-site as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures following regulatory requirements.
• Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees and site personnel.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness plans, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety measures on-site.
• Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies regarding safety compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Certification in Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) and Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to be assigned on-site when required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
