Technical Support Engineer (Senior Cyber Security)

Summary: A new alliance is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Technical Support Engineer to join its organization and Technical Support Team. We are focused on providing businesses and governments with world class Managed Security, Consulting, and Cyber Threat Detection & Response Services.

In this role, you’ll manage and perform customer security support across phone, email, screensharing, and continue to improve customer support efficacy.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, SIEM and Endpoint technical issues
  • Enable customers to overcome technical challenges with Cloud, SaaS, SIEM, and Endpoint technologies while providing solutions
  • Troubleshoot, inform, document, and advocate technical issues to enhance the customer experience
  • Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including cross-functionally
  • Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies
  • Other duties as required
Requirements and Experience
  • 3+ years in customer facing Technical Support Role (Tier 2 or Tier 3 level).
  • Exposure with Cybersecurity/SIEM.
  • Demonstrate excellent phone communication, written skills, and maintain a positive attitude
  • Effectively document customer challenges and maintain high attention to detail
  • Take ownership of customer issues and see them through, start to finish
  • Strong collaborator and customer success focused
  • Power User experience in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Must be a SME in at least two (2) of the following: AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure Cloud, Networking, Windows Server, Sentinel One.
  • Linux, Windows, and Networking troubleshooting skills
  • Previous experience with SIEM and Endpoint solutions
  • Jira and other bug tracking tool experience
  • Relevant Cloud Technology certifications are preferred
  • Amenable to work onsite at BGC, Taguig
