Full Stack Developer (Vue.js, Laravel, WFH - Work From Home)

Mata Technologies, Inc. is looking for an experienced full stack developer to start ASAP. You can permanently work from home (WFH), anywhere in the Philippines or in our office in Cebu City. You’ll be working closely with our international partners and clients and their teams, this will include project managers, design staff and software developers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a senior fullstack developer at Mata Technologies, Inc., you will have the opportunity to work on the frontend and backend of a new exciting web development project.

In this role you will be responsible for using best in class software engineering techniques to work on a new web application in the healthcare industry. You will work on contributing to the initial build of a web application from scratch.

You will be taking over important responsibilities in the project, including but not limited to:

• Regular meetings with the development team with occasional meetings with EST during business hours in Eastern Standard Time
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in JavaScript and PHP.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using Vue.js and Quasar Framework.
• Build RESTful APIs and backend services with Laravel.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across the full stack.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile development processes.
• Stay current on modern patterns, principles, frameworks, and other technologies so you can suggest new ideas

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of professional experience in fullstack web development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with hands-on experience using Vue.js and Quasar.
• Solid experience in PHP and Laravel framework.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
• Understanding of database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Git and version control best practices.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with Docker or other containerization tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or DigitalOcean.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
